Since Slayer wasn't going to play at Monterrey Metal Fest 3 we bought tickets for Slayer's show in Guadalajara, Jalisco. We bought the tickets on August 28, and got them 10 days later. We got our bus tickets, and on September 20 we left to Guadalajara. We arrived to Guadalajara on September 21 very early. We went to a shitty hotel, had a breakfast, wandered through the city and then went to the venue just to find out that the show had been moved back one day. However, since we arrived early, we were lucky and got wrist bands that would enable us to get inside the venue first than the other people, by the way only 60 wrist bands were given. After that we returned to the hotel to drink beer and get stoned \m/ September 22... we had a breakfast and then we went to the venue. Eventhough we had the wrist bands we arrived very early. While we were on the row, there was a huge rain. We got all wet. I'm glad my camera didn't get wet. Finally we got into the venue. I was the 6th guy in the row \m/ Sergio (Evilheart bassist) and me managed to get our cameras inside the venue eventhough they weren't allowed. Due to time limitations Thine Eyes Bleed (Tom's brother John's band) didn't play, and Slayer took the stage around 9:00pm.

The show was simply amazing \m/ The reaction from the crowd was extremely aggressive. The most aggressive crowd I have ever seen. Since the first riff to the last note the crowd never stopped to roar. Because of this circumstances it was very difficult for the fans to take pixs, 'cause each time we were going to take a picture someone hitted us, or something happened. Since we were at Kerry King's side we took more pixs from him. If someone has more pixs please get in touch at evilheart@evilheart.com \m/ Slayer's perfomance was tight, and the song selection was excellent, however some songs were missed, like Anti Christ, Black Magic, Jesus Saves, Altar Of Sacrifice... and well they didn't play songs from "Divine Intervention," it would be interesting to see Dave Lomabrdo playing Dittohead or Serenity In Murder, and they only played one song from Christ Illusion. It would have been cool if they had played Flesh Storm and Catalyst the best songs from the album in my opinion. One of the coolest things from the show was when Tom Araya introduced Dead Skin Mask as a "love song" \m/ I have been a Slayer fan since 1994 (a friend lent me "Decade Of Aggression") the same year Slayer played in México City, and now in 2006 I finally get to see them at their first show in México since 1994. After the show we were all tired, and just went back to the hotel.
