Hail! Here is a detailed chronicle of our activies before, during and after the show with Deicide. We were notified about the Deicide show by promoter Reyes Amaro from Dark Vission Entertainment at the end of June. I designed the flyer (see above) and we began to practice very hard for the show. Unfortunately new vocalist Miguel Flores didn't learn the lyrics, and we had to fire him two weeks before the show. Guitarist Jorge Millán, who was handling the vocals before Miguel, returned to the vocal duties. We had a warm up show at our hometown on July 16. We left Culiacán (our hometown) on July 19. After a 20 hours long bus trip we arrived on July 20 to Monterrey and we're unable to contact the promoters due to heavy rains caused by hurricane Emily. We stood at a cheap hotel and celebrated Adrian's 22th birthday. On July 21 we met in the morning with Reyes. Reyes and I went to the airport to pickup Deicide around 12:00, but the airplane arrived almost at 13:00. We took them to the hotel, and at 5pm there was a signing session. At 6pm we left to the venue Café Iguana. After Deicide finished their soundcheck we did ours.

At 21:00 we got onstage and opened with "Lycanthropic Possession," and continued our set with "The Black Chasm," "Oath Of Apostasy," "Therionmorphosis," "Ice Sword Revenge" and closed with a brand new song "Paradise Of Synthetic Souls," but we were notified we had more time, so we played another song: "In Other Lands." The reaction of the crowd was very positive. At 21:45 we got offstage.

Deicide got onstage at 22:00. The people were all screaming and very excited. Deicide opened fiercely with "Scars Of The Crucifix" and continued with their set which consisted mainly on old songs. After they perfomed the classic "Deicide" they left the stage, but the crowd screamed for more, and they returned to finish the massacre with yet another classic: "Dead By Dawn." Deicide performance was awesome, specially Glen, Steve and Ralph. Jack was a little bit lifeless, but very tight.

It was a great honour for us to share the stage with a legendary band like Deicide. We would like to thank to Reyes, Gilberto, Iván, Gina and Diego from DVE for their support, all the people who attented to the show, our friends in Monterrey, and finally to Glen, Steve and tour manager Oliver for being very cool with us.

Stay Metal \m/
